VMA nominated.
Made in Detroit, MI. This was my first experience working along side A-list artists on a large-scale music video. This project developed on very short-notice where we were given 5 days to crew a 25+ person team and ensure all pieces were in place for originally a 1-day shoot.
To make things more interesting, Saturday Night Live called to see we could also shoot a cutaway of Em "off-stage" interrupting Pete Davidson's retirement sketch where he is spoofing one of Em's songs. It was to air that following Saturday. After making last-second arrangements to shoot a day early, we succeeded in creating both the piece for SNL and the music video for Interscope Records.
Key Takeaway: Always be ready to deviate from the plan and make changes on the fly, most especially when working with icons like Em and Snoop. Music videos are wild.
