Following my role in the 16th season of Hard Knocks, I was fortunate to be invited to work for NFL Films International Production Operations at Super Bowl LVII in Phoenix, AZ. This year, NFL Films was responsible for hosting 16 international broadcasting networks from all around the world, including:
In this capacity, I would provide support to the Sr. Director of Int'l Operations as well the 16 international networks. This included assuring all studio booths and trailers were prepped to the specific demands of each network (equipment, internet, furniture, signage), escorting broadcasters to the field for their designated time slots, managing on-site transportation via golf carts, document and key distribution, etc.
This was the the most exciting atmosphere I'd ever been in. Happy I got to check "Go to a Super Bowl" off the bucket list.
Key Takeaway: Considering the language and cultural barrier, I am happy I had the opportunity to work with so many foreign professionals simultaneously who have their own ways of doing things. And very often better ways of doing things.
